This is the last ‘Science at Home’ activity before the holidays.
I hope you’ve enjoyed the investigations!
Here are your new ideas for Home Learning. There’s lots of ideas to prepare you for your next class and ways to tell your teacher a little bit about yourself.
Have a go at the science investigations, is your den waterproof?
Have Fun and remember to read, read read!
Hello again, I’m not liking this weather we are having!
Mrs Richards and I have mixed up the learning ideas a little bit, we hope you find them fun and a little bit challenging.
You can now contact Mrs Richards and I through the class email address.
firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com
We would love to see some photos of any projects you have completed or even a message to say hello!
Have fun and keep reading!
Here’s a fun idea that everyone can have a go at, from Reception all the way up to Year 6!
Let us know how you get on!
Hello everyone, I hope you are all keeping safe. It looks like the weather is changing but hopefully it’ll be sunny again soon.
This is usually one of the busiest terms of the year with lots of fun things to do such as visits, Sport’s Day, Summer Fair… I’m sure you’re all missing being with each other and playing games together. I’m missing my friends and family too. Be strong, we can do this!
Please take a look through the home learning ideas and have a go at some. If you have photos of things you have made at home, please send them in via email. We’d love to see them!
As always, the most important thing you can do is to keep reading as much as possible. We don’t want you to forget everything you have learnt in school so far, you’ve all worked so hard in Chestnut and Elm Class!
Please stay safe and keep washing your hands!
I hope you are all staying safe and enjoying the sunshine as much as possible.
Mrs Richards and I have put together the next lot of activities to keep you busy. Do the best you can with what you have at home. The most important thing, after staying safe, is to keep reading. Everyone was doing so well and making good progress, you need to keep it up!
It was lovely to speak to some of you on the phone, I’ll be making some more calls this week so if you have any news to tell me about what you have been doing I would love to hear it.
Mrs Dowell & Mrs Richards
The weather has certainly turned a bit wet and cold. I’ve included an activity to make a wind sock for outside; make sure it doesn’t get blown away!
I really hope you are all reading a little bit each day. Try to fit in writing a sentence about what you have done or write about how you are feeling. You could also write a short letter to someone you are missing and post it on your daily walk. I know we all text and use phones to keep in touch, but it’s so exciting to get a letter through the post!
