What a fantastic week we have had!
Following our autumn walk earlier this week, we have written some amazing poems in Literacy! Some of the children have even used a thesaurus to help us improve our vocabulary, which is great. We are thoroughly enjoying our guided reading book, it has really helped us to get in the right head space for thinking about extreme survival. In science we looked at the temperature of different countries and discussed what it might be like to live there.
It’s great to see so many of you reading your books at home! The children have been given a homework sheet for them to work through this term. They can pick one of the activities (which is linked to our topic). This should be handed in on a Friday. This will last until the end of term.
Just another reminder that P.E. days are Monday and Thursday. Children should come to school in their P.E. kits which should be: White t-shirt, plain dark joggers and a school jumper/cardigan. Children are not to wear jewellery and if earrings cannot be removed they should be covered.
Have a great weekend and let’s look forward to another great one next week!
