Willow – 7.7.23

Good afternoon,

The children have all been sharing their experiences of their transition days this week, it has been great hearing about how they got on and what they are looking forward to.

This week we have been focusing on our performance Shakespeare Rocks. I am very impressed with the children’s singing and how well some of them have learnt their lines. One child who has worked particularly hard and is this week’s Golden Certificate winner is Ethan – congratulations.

On Monday 10th July, we have a dress rehearsal, the children need to come to school in their costumes and bring in their P.E. kits to change into. On Wednesday 12th July, the children will need to bring in their costumes ready for our performances.

I hope to see lots of you at the Summer Fair tomorrow (8.7.23),

Mr Reynolds

Willow – 30.6.23

Good afternoon,

We have had an interesting week in maths, working on our methodical and strategical understanding. The children have practiced using a range of methods and trail and error in order to get to the desired goal.

In English, the children have continued their book project and they are coming along well. They are putting in a lot of effort and I hope they keep it up. In history, we have continued to explore the Maya civilisation by looking at a range of resources and what they tell us.

One child that has tried particularly hard this week, has done a great job with the lines in the performance and is this week’s Golden Certificate winner is Shalom – congratulations.

I hope the children have a great time on Monday and Tuesday, and look forward to hearing how they get on.

Mr Reynolds
