Good afternoon,
We have had a great week in Year 6. The children have worked particularly hard in their English lessons, writing persuasive letters applying for the various roles in year 6. We have also recorded the speeches for those children going for the Head Pupil positions.
In maths, we have finished our unit on Place Value. The children’s homework this week is on mathletics, revisiting our learning in class. In geography we have continued to explore rivers around the world and in science we have started looking at classification.
One child who has worked particularly hard this week across all areas, and is Willow’s Golden Certificate Winner is Charlie – congratulations.
The children have started really well with their reading and the recording of their reading, please encourage them to continue this over the weekend.
Hope you have a fun weekend,
Mr Reynolds
