It’s been an exciting week with the weather and having some snow. The children were thrilled when it starting snowing at break yesterday, even though it was only briefly. Despite the weather being cold, the children have still been taking off jumpers and cardigans, and we have had several left in class. Please can you ensure your child’s clothing is named, so any that have been misplaced can be returned.
In Literacy, we’ve been planning and writing our instructions to make an Egyptian Scarab Beetle. We’ve been talking about features such as; numbered steps, heading and subheadings, imperative verbs and technical vocabulary.
In Maths, we’ve been looking at key facts about the relationship between multiplication and division, methods for multiplication and multiplying a 2 and 3 digit number by a 1 digit number.
In RE, we’ve been talking about how Hindus show their faith. The children enjoyed using the iPads to try to research to find out more information.
We’ve been talking about the Rights of the Child and Human Rights and how they are universal and can’t be taken away.
This week, our Golden Certificate winner is Gian who has been eager to help others and shown he is a good friend. Well done, Gian.
We hope you have a great weekend.
