Good afternoon,
This week the children have produced some amazing diary entries from the perspective of a character in short film who goes on a little journey. The children have really shown their descriptive vocabulary, cohesion and wide use of punctuation.
In maths we have finished our unit on algebra and have moved on to looking at shape, in particular this week we have revisited measuring angles and explored different ways of working out angles in a triangle.
For geography we continued our look across Europe and the children compared other countries landscapes to the UKs. During science we looked at the work of Marie Maynard Daly.
One child who has done very well this week, who has contributed to class discussions and is this week’s Golden Certificate winner is Allegra – congratulations.
Please keep encouraging the children to read and keep up with their home learning.
I hope you have a great weekend,
Mr Reynolds, Mrs Davies and Miss Nicholas
