Good afternoon,
Wow this term seems to have raced by. I have been really impressed with the children’s effort and focus; I hope this continues after Easter.
We have finished the term with the children demonstrating their descriptive vocabulary in English and statistical understanding in maths. In geography we have discussed the physical and human impact on the landscape, thinking ahead to what might happen in the future. The children have also really got to grips with our Anglo-Saxon, Scots and Vikings unit in history and I am sure they will enjoy next term’s topic on Ancient Greece.
One child who has done particularly well this term and is growing from strength to strength and is our Golden Certificate winner is Isobel – congratulations.
As a class we have managed to reach out target of 4,000,000 words read, which is a great achievement. Please encourage the children to keep up the reading over the Easter break.
We hope you all have a great two weeks,
Mr Reynolds, Miss Nicholas and Mrs Davies
