Good afternoon,
We have had a very descriptive week in English, with the children producing some amazing descriptive settings, using a range of extended noun phrases and figurative language. Next week, we are moving on to character descriptions, so I am hoping the children carry their enthusiasm through to that.
In maths, we have started our new unit on fractions, it is so important that the children keep practising their times tables, as this helps them form links and develops their understanding further.
In science, we are continuing to look at the human body and in topic we are investigating bridge structures.
The children finished the week with a huge dance party on the playground in aid of Children in Need. They all had a good time and looked great in all their colourful and interesting outfits.
Please keep up the daily reading at home and have a good weekend,
Mr Reynolds
