Good afternoon,
Thank you to all of your donations today and coming dressed in red. We have had a fun day, trying to tell a joke every 30 minutes.
I have been really impressed this week with how the children have been working. They have been really creative whilst looking at The Three Little Pigs from the wolf’s perspective and in maths they have done well as we begin to explore fractions and what they mean.
In our topic, we have learnt all about pyramids. We found out that one pyramid had each side measuring 230m, which we worked out was 8 laps of the netball courts. We gave jogging/walking the distance ago to get an idea of the size! We also designed and built a pyramid structure, using straws and plasticine. Next week, we will be learning about hieroglyphics.
Hope you all have a restful weekend,
Mr Reynolds and Mrs Martin
