It was lovely to see all of the children back in school, looking refreshed after their half term break.  This week we have started reading our new class text ‘Friend or Foe’ by Michael Morpurgo.  The children are already invested in the text and have begun some super character descriptions about David the main character.  We have been busy using skills learnt from our Navigator visit last half term, while using atlases and identifying places on maps as part of our Geography.  We made some ovely animated flip books in computing, which the children brought home to share with you.  In science our new topic is light and this week we thought about light sources and what dark actually is.
