Good afternoon,
What an exciting week we have had especially with World Book Day yesterday.
We finished our class book, Pig-heart Boy, and today the children have written some very good book reviews, sharing their thoughts and feelings towards it. In maths, we have concluded our topic on area, perimeter and volume by exploring cuboids. The Golden Certificate winner this week is someone that has excelled in both Writing and maths – congratulations Joseph.
In geography we have continued to explore the make up of Britain by looking at boundary lines and in history we have investigated the Battle of Hastings.
Please keep up the reading at home.
I hope you have a good weekend,
Mr Reynolds, Miss Nicholas and Mrs Davies

In maths we have started looking at area and perimeter, and will be moving on to volume next week. If you have any free time over the weekend, some quick fire multiplication questions would be very beneficial. In science we have explored what actually is in our blood and the roles different parts have.
As always please encourage daily reading, it really does make a difference.
