Willow – 8.12.23

Good afternoon,

This week has been our end of term test week, the children have tried very hard to demonstrate exactly what they can do. Alongside this, we have had children completing their Bikeability Level 1 and 2; where not only did the children do very well, but they were heavily complemented by the instructors on how polite and well behaved they were.

We have continued to explore British Monarchy in history, looking at The Windsor Family, and the children have started their investigations in our science unit on electricity.

One child who has tried very hard all week, and is this week’s Golden Certificate winner is Willow – congratulations.

Hope you all have a great weekend,

Mr Reynolds and Miss Nicholas

13th -17th November

Anti-Bullying Week 2023 will take place from Monday 13th – Friday 17th November

The purpose of the week is to raise awareness of bullying.

Bullying is the unwanted, aggressive behaviour that involves a real or perceived power imbalance, that is repeated.

Our focus will be looking at prevention and effective responses. During the week, to help raise the profile, we would like the children to wear odd socks each day to celebrate that we are all different.

Children in Need on Friday 17th November

On Friday 17th November it is Children in Need. To help celebrate Children in Need we would like everyone to embrace the theme of ‘SPOTacular’. Rather than wearing their school uniform, on Friday 17th November, the children can come in wearing something spotty. We will also be collecting donations to send off to the charity.
