Good afternoon,
The children all looked great dressed up for World Book Day yesterday. They all had lots of fun going into different classes and trying lessons such as Quidditch, Transfiguration, Herbology, Charms and Care of magical creatures.
They are really enjoying the Rumaysa book we are doing in Reading our reading sessions. This week we have also started to look at Non-chronological reports in our writing sessions. We have been going over the features ready to plan and write our own next week.
In Maths, we have been continuing a work on decimals. The children have been dividing a 2-digit number by 10 and looking at hundredths. We have been recognising hundredths as fractions and decimals, and finding hundredths on a place value chart.
Our Golden Certificate winner is Alissiya. She has been trying very hard in class, especially in Maths. Well done and keep it up.
Have a lovely weekend.
