In Science, we have continued our work on states of matter and yesterday observed how water changing state. We watched an ice cube melt changing from solid and liquid and also saw how water changed into water vapour.
We have started our unit on fractions in maths. We have been looking at how many parts make a whole, counting beyond 1, partitioning mixed numbers and finding fractions on a number line.
In English, we have looked at persuasive texts. We have looked at what a persuasive text is and why it is used and features of a persuasive text. After looking at each of the features, we then planned and wrote our own as a class text.
Please can children bring in their water bottles, reading book and reading records daily. Keep up the reading and times table practise at home. Thank you.
Have a great weekend.
