Good afternoon,
Well done to all the children for trying hard during our swimming lessons. It has been great to watch their confidence in the water grow and they have made their own personal progress with swimming. Today was our last lesson.
Yesterday, the children enjoyed investigating changes in state in Science. We looked at what temperature chocolate melts and observed it change from solid to liquid. This morning we then noticed the melted chocolate had returned to solid.
In English, we planned and wrote our newspaper report. We have been looking at using inverted commas for reported and direct speech and third person pronouns.
In Maths, we finished our unit on length and perimeter. This week we have looked at finding the perimeter of rectilinear shapes and regular and irregular polygons.
Our Golden Certificate winner this week is Tyler. He makes the right choices and is an excellent role model to his peers. Well done!
We hope you have a lovely weekend.
