We have really enjoyed getting to know the new Oak Class and we are all super excited for the super fun year we have ahead of us. We have spoken in class about the expectations for Year 5 and following both class and school rules. We have created our class charter, which is displayed outside of our classroom, and all children have agreed this is how Oak Class will show readiness for learning. We have expressed a huge focus on presentation, as we hope to be sharing our work with the rest of the school and those of you at home.
Vishva has been awarded The Golden Certificate this week for her beautiful presentation and care that she demonstrates in all of her work. She has made a super start to Year 5 and is a great example to the other children in her class. Well Done! She has taken home our ‘Oak Class Diary’, which all children will have opportunity to add to, letting their classmates know what they got up to over the weekends.
If you have any questions or queries please send an email to the class email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Have a great weekend and we will see you next week!
Mrs Brunyard, Miss Hipkiss and Miss Nicholas
I feel this is a great opportunity for me to introduce myself as their new class teacher. Some of you may already recognise me from teaching Year 5 and 3/4 last year, and I am just as excited this year. I enjoy making learning as fun as possible. I have added a collection of books to the reading corner, which children are more than welcome to help themselves too! I have an interest in Sports, especially football, and will be holding a girl’s football club during Wednesday lunchtimes for those who would like to attend.
We have an exciting residential trip to Arthog, which is fast approaching, and I will be at the Arthog meeting afterschool on Wednesday 14th September to answer any questions you may have. I have recently attended Arthog with the late Year 6’s in June, and I look forward to having just as much fun with the new Oak Class.
I look forward to seeing you all soon and working with all in Oak!
