Happy December!
We have had plenty of visits from out naughty elf this week. Today, he decided to wrap the tables in wrapping paper!
In English, we have written diary entries as Anne Frank. The children explored how Anne and her family might feel during the World War and how Jews were treated during this time. They have used their knowledge from History, Geography and our English to embed the key events from Anne Frank’s life.
In Maths, we have continued with Fractions, where we are approaching the end of the unit. The children are all becoming a lot more confident in adding, subtracting and converting fractions.
This week has been assessment week, where the children have achieved some amazing scores. We will continue to work on the children’s speed and accuracy in Maths. Please continue to encourage the children to be reading at home as much as possible, so their reading scores are reflective of their efforts!
Our Golden Certificate Winner this week is Jake K! He has worked really hard this week to achieve his best in assessment week and has achieved some great scors reflective of his efforts. His attitude to learning is FANTASTIC! Well Done Jake!
Hope to see you all at the Christmas Fayre tonight!
