Hopefully, this last week will be the last of Willow’s Remote Learning. The class return on Monday at the usual time. When your child arrives at school they can go straight to class via the Extended School’s Room – that’s the room we were coming out of in December when it was too wet to walk across the grass.
Should our bubble burst we might go back to Remote Learning but that is unlikely to happen so I hoping we have a normal rest of the year. The children will still be sitting in rows and movement around the school will be kept at a minimum but I will, as always, try and make the class as safe as possible and ensure the class have fun but continue to learn.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their patience and support. It has been a very strange time but I am delighted when I speak to the children in the TEAM’s meets. They have been carrying out the work, they have been safe at home and they have managed to remain cheerful – this is a reflection of your continued care and guidance – thank you again.
I have added the homework answers to the ‘HOMEWORK’ page and the new homework for the coming week is:
From next week, I will provide the children with a homework slip each week and we will go through the answers together in class on a Friday afternoon. Please ensure your child has their homework SAT Buster books with them on a Friday to help facilitate the marking.
It is Science week next week; I look forward to it – it’ll be a great topic for returning to school.
Have a super weekend and, as normal, please email me in the event of query; the address is willow@crowmoorschool.co.uk.
Kind regards
Mr Wilmot, Mrs Carroll-Lewis and Ms Harris
