Hello everyone,
This week has been our assessment week and the children have worked extremely hard on their assessments. They will be given feedback and set new targets for next term.
Sycamore and Hazel have also been working hard in their play performances this week to parents and the school. I’m sure you would all agree the play was fantastic! Thank you for all of your help and support. The ‘Friends of Crowmoor’ raised a great amount of money selling refreshments.
In D.T this week we have continued with our topic of linkages and levers and have designed an educational moving poster all about the Ancient Egyptians.
In Geography we have been looking at how rain is formed by making our own rain clouds. This involved using shaving foam and blue dye to show how much water the rain clouds hold before precipitation occurs.
In Science we have also looked at famous paleontologists such as Mary Anning and the pupils have re-enacted how it must have felt to have discovered these fossils.
Well done to our golden certificate winner, Grace. She has worked extremely hard during her assessments this week and has made excellent progression in her learning.
Next week, we have our Easter Competition and School Disco on Wednesday. Children can come into school in non-uniform wearing bright colors.
Have a lovely weekend,
Miss Bliss, Mrs Martin and Miss Aldridge
