Hello everyone,
This week in in English, we have been planning and writing our own playscripts. The children have been busy planning the setting of their play using lots of adjectives and key vocabulary related to our topic of Ancient Egypt.
In Maths, we have started a new unit which is Mass and Capacity. The pupils have explored why we need to weigh objects. We have started to weigh objects in grams and look at how many grams there are in a kilogram.
In Science we continued with our Rocks and Soil topic. We investigated the different properties of rocks and found out that some rocks can be hard and some can be soft.
In Geography we have continued to look at the Water Cycle. We drew and labelled the Water Cycle diagram using key words such as condensation and evaporation. Why not ask your children what these key words mean?
Well done to this weeks golden certificate winner, Alissyia. She has worked extremely hard in her maths this week and has displayed enthusiasm in all parts of her learning
Have a lovely weekend,
Miss Bliss, Mrs Martin and Miss Aldridge
