This week the children have started new topics in both maths and literacy.  We have looked at angles in maths and performance poetry in literacy.  We have linked our performance poetry to our work on Fairtrade in topic.

For homework this week I have asked the children to search for the sugar content in drinks (at home, in the shops, out for a meal etc).  Next week in science we will be looking at teeth and we will be investigating the sugar content in different drinks. It will be helpful if the children already have some knowledge on this.
