We have had lots of fun during science week. The main topic has been journeys, so to begin we looked at animal migration and found out why animals migrate. We linked this to our explorers topic and found out about Captain Scott’s journey to The Antarctic. We have made aeroplanes and helicopters and flown them, looking at how they stay in the air and move. We also held a competition to see who’s aeroplane could fly the furthest. We completed an investigation into the journey of a sneeze and found out that a sneeze travels a lot further than we thought! Today we have had fun melting chocolate, to see who has the coldest and warmest hands in our classroom. We have also completed some Red Nose Day activities and designed our own ultra rare noses.
Please remember to send PE kits in on Monday for the whole week.
