Good afternoon,
What an interesting week we have had.
The children have started our new maths topic on percentages very well, they have been using their understanding of fractions and decimals to help with this. In English we have been looking at writing diary entries.
In our computing and D&T, we have been looking at coding and programmable devices. The children have done very well coming up with interesting ideas and concepts.
I hope the children have been doing lots of reading and have managed to complete their Mathletics sessions.
I hope you have all had a safe end to the week and enjoy your weekends,
Mr Reynolds

Good afternoon,
We have had a great first week back, the children have been trying very hard – particularly in their writing.
In maths, we have finished our unit on decimals, so will now be looking to apply our understanding across in to percentages. In English we have been looking at how to finish off a story; next week, we will be looking at diary entries. Our Golden Certificate winner, this week, is somebody who has been trying really hard in both of these subjects – congratulations Millie.
Yesterday we celebrated World Book Day and there were some fantastic costume and ideas on show. Thank you for all of your help in getting the children dressed up.
Please keep encouraging the children to read and have a relaxing weekend,
Mr Reynolds
