Another half term comes to an end…
In English, we have finished our jungle setting descriptions. They have turned out fantastic. Please see image below of some on display:
In Maths, we have finished our unit on Decimals. We achieved some really good scores. To address any areas we have struggled with, we have used Mathletics to help us boost our knowledge.
We have carried out some super activities this week. Please find images below.
Our Golden Certificate Winner this week is Scarlett R. She tries so hard in everything she does and her efforts have been recognised by both Miss Hipkiss and Mr Bates recently. Her great score in her end of unit Maths test reflects this. She will take home the Oak Class Diary over the half term. Well Done Scarlett!
Have a lovely break over the half term

In Maths, we have just finished our unit on Shape, where the children received some really good scores! We have just started our new unit looking at decimals again. The children are recapping what we have already learnt about decimals and applying this to our new learning.
New spellings are posted. Please try find the time at home to practice these at the weekend. We need to aim for spelling bees! I have also set new Mathletics homework to link to our new unit. The children have been really good at keeping up to date with Mathletics this week, keep it up!
