This week we’ve been really busy writing information texts. We have written lists, captions and answered comprehension questions. We are getting very good at answering questions in full sentences. In maths we are continuing with addition and subtraction calculations within 10. We had lots of fun mini beast hunting and looking at their habitats. Don’t forget it’s pirate day on Friday!
This week we have been busy in Sycamore class.
In literacy we have been writing character descriptions and looking at the function of fronted adverbials. Everyone has worked extremely hard and has tried their best.
In Maths we have been doing lots of addition and subtraction, using mental and written methods as well as exploring inverse operations.
In the afternoons we have been researching different forms of transport and creating group posters to present to other children in the school.
