Homework

Homework is usually given out on a Friday and collected the following Thursday.

It consists of spellings, Literacy or Maths homework and some foundation homework.

I try to encourage the children to look at their homework as soon as they get it, so that they have plenty of time during the next week to talk to me about it if they do not understand the tasks.

A busy few weeks!

Hi all.

As you know, most of the class visited Kingswood last week. It was great fun and every child got the most out of the activities we did. I am extremely proud of every member of Sycamore who pushed themselves, whether that was completing the zip wire or making it to the top of the tower. We hope to get lots of photos on the website as soon as possible and they will also be on show in school throughout the year.

This week (27th September) we are visiting RAF Cosford to see how transport has changed throughout the ages. We will be taking part in a project linked with forces, building and firing rockets.

Next week (4th October) we will be going to the library at Shirehall. The children will have the opportunity to pick their own book whilst also listening to a story being read.
