We have had a good week in school. We have developed our work on the ‘The Golden Compass’ film study, we’ve improved our sentence constructions and in maths we have looked at data handling. The drawing of the line graphs was quite tricky and those in school will have benefited from a little more explanation.
The history and science is going well. I am enjoying learning more about Greece. The science ‘electrical’ topic is good too – they get through quite a lot of content in the lessons. Whilst there may not be too much written work the children seem to be remembering the content of prior sessions well.
If you get chance please try the RAF STEM projects – they are going down well in class and offer a little light relief. The link is at the end of the timetable and should take you directly to the week’s activity. They don’t take long to complete; the clips explain the STEM elements.

Here’s the new CPG SAT Buster homework for this week:
To avoid confusion, answers to this last week’s homework have been posted to the class website ‘Homework’ page. Please mark the homework using the answers I post.
If your child struggles with the work, and I appreciate there are some lessons where they might, please just write the lesson title in the back of their purple ‘Crowmoor Curriculum’ books and I will go over the areas when the children return to school.
I look forward to speaking with your child in school or on the TEAMs link and thank you for your continued support. I am very appreciative of the challenges home educating can bring and will help out wherever I can. In the event of any query please email on willow@crowmoorschool.co.uk and I will endeavor to respond as soon as I get chance.
Have a great weekend.
