Hello everyone,
We hope you all had a lovely half term week. This week has been really busy! We started the week off with a soul band demonstration from Shropshire Music Service. They demonstrated many different instruments that can be taught through the music service.
It was also lovely to meet you all at Parents’ Evening. As discussed, Year 4 will be taking the compulsory multiplication test at the end of the academic year. A really good website to practice is: https://www.timestables.co.uk/speed-test/ and other websites and apps such as ‘Hit the Button’.
We have also had our visit to Cineworld to watch, ‘A Dog’s Way Home’. The children were brilliant in walking to and from the cinema and behaved fantastically when we were there.
On Thursday morning, we started our ‘Reading the Game’ programme with Coach Neil from Shrewsbury Town in the Community. Next week, we will start the practical elements of the programme.
Have a lovely weekend!
Mrs Brunyard and Mrs Martin
