Hello everyone,
I hope you’ve all had a wonderful half term!
On Wednesday, it was World Environment Day. We took the opportunity to discuss about the key theme for 2019 which is ‘air pollution’ and how we can help reduce air pollution and save the environment. The children discussed how recycling household goods can improve air pollution. We also talked about growing our own fruit and vegetables. The children worked in small groups to plant runner bean and carrot seeds in potting trays. Hopefully, we shall see these vegetables grow from tiny seeds into plants bearing beans and carrots.
In Maths, we have just finished our unit of decimals and we’re now moving on to money. Please can you help your children with their times tables at home. They are tested weekly within school but it would be helpful if they can practice them at home as well. Thank you.
Have a super weekend!
