Hello everyone!
Hope you’ve all had a lovely week! This week, we have been writing our setting descriptions based upon extreme habitats. The children have been using lots of fantastic descriptive language to describe their setting.
In Maths, the children have been continuing their work on place value. We have been looking at rounding numbers, ordering and comparing large numbers and looking at numbers up to the value of 10000. The children have found some of these concepts a little tricky at times but they have worked really hard.
As part of our creative curriculum work, we have been researching various different deserts such as the Gobi and the Sahara. We have used this information to create factfiles. In Science, we have been looking at the classification of different living things. We talked about the seven life processes (MRS GREN) and how livings things need to do each of the process to live.
Up until half term, PE will be on Mondays and Thursdays. Please can you ensure that your child has their PE kit in school on these days.
Have a fantastic weekend and enjoy the sunshine while it lasts!
