What a busy week! We have been comparing groups of objects and numbers using the vocabulary of ‘less, more and equal’. We have also been learning to play our new maths games which will support our learning in the sessions.
In literacy we have been thinking about rhyme and making up our own rhymes. We have written rhyming sentences about Flo, the Mercy dog. We had to work hard to remember capital letters, spaces between words, full stops and to ensure our sentences rhymed. This term we have been working on our presentation. Here is an example of the standard we are expecting in Chestnut Class.
We have had fun today making paintings in the style of Jackson Pollock. We were very careful to tap our paint brushes to create the effect rather than flick them! Paint was everywhere!
Please remember to practise spellings, they are all words we have been using this week. Also please read each night as a little practise really does go a long way.
Enjoy the weekend
