The children have had a great week preparing for their Easter break. We have finished our Lost and Found Polar Bear stories, using some super vocabulary. Everyone worked hard to ensure they used their neatest handwriting, remembered capital letters and full stops and we even had some exclamation marks too!
Our maths has been all about measuring length and height. We have compared objects and ourselves using mathematical vocabulary. We have measured using objects and centimeters and have really improved our accuracy.
We had a great time at the Easter disco and were very lucky to have all recieved an Easter egg from the Friends of Crowmoor. We were impressed with the effort that went into all of the entries for the Easter competition.
Children will come home with sheets to practise their phonic knowledge over the break. Please also read regularly as a little practise really does make a big difference.
Enjoy the holidays
