This week we have had lots more amazing writing and the children are doing their very best to keep their presentation neat. Keep up the good work everyone! We have been looking at the characters in the story of ‘Mog the Forgetful Cat’, thinking about how they feel and what they might say. We have written predictions, lists and speech bubbles ready to write our own stories next week.
In maths we have been using the greater than, less than and equal to symbols. The children have been super clever at picking this up and are able to use the vocabulary and symbols confidently to compare groups and numbers. I am very proud of how hard they are all working.
We had lots of fun in science testing materials to make teddy an umberella, it also helped that on the day we had all been soaked coming into school! We thought about fair testing and how to control our investigation. I’m not sure I would want an umberella made from tin foil, but the children chose to test it and it kept teddy perfectly dry. We have been looking at warm and cool colours in art and completed our own pictures in the style of Robert and Sonia Delaunay. The children were very pleased with the results and the pictures look stunning.
To help us make sure we’re providing the best standard of education for your child/children, we’d like to know how you feel about our school. Today, your children brought home a questionnaire to be completed and returned to school. However, if you would rather complete it online, please click on this link:
