Chestnut and Elm will be visiting Chester Zoo on Tuesday 14th November. The trip will take place during school time and permission letters will be coming home next week.

Fairytale and Pirate Day – KS1 and Nursery only
On Friday 20th October Little Acorns, Acorns and Beech can come to school dressed as their favourite fairytale character and Chestnut and Elm can come to school dressed as pirates. This is to reflect the work they have been doing in class and is a chance for everyone to get creative!
Individual School Photos -6th November
The individual school photographs have been rearranged for Monday 6th November. If you would like photographs taken of children with siblings at other schools or children who do not attend nursery on a Monday then please come to reception at 8.30am for a group photo to be taken.
Cancellation of some after school clubs – Monday 16th Oct
Unfortunately, we have to cancel homework club, film club and Key Stage 1 football on Monday 16th October. Apologies for any inconvenience. Please note that Key Stage 2 Multi Skills will still be taking place as normal.
Harvest Festival – Tues 17th October
The Harvest Festival will be taking place at the Baptist Church on Tuesday 17th October at 1.30pm. Please ensure you have returned your annual visit permission form to enable you child to attend. Any donations of tinned goods can be given to the school office on Tuesday morning. Thank you

Golden Certificate Winners – 6th October 2017
A big well done to our golden certificate winners this week who are:
Tyler-Jay Evans, Levi-Mae Powell, Rosie Edwards, Casey Evans, Alfie Davies, Courtneigh Lewis-Willis, Sophie-Leigh Jones and Alex Mutch.
And a big well done to Ben Cumming who won the fortnightly attendance award last week!

Every two weeks children who have had 100% attendance for the previous fortnight are entered into a draw to win a £10 Argos voucher. Plus, we have additional prize draws at the end of each term for children with over 95% attendance.
Children also have to arrive at school on time to be in with a chance of winning!
Friends of Crowmoor – Next meeting 16th October
The Friends of Crowmoor School will be holding their next meeting on Monday 16th October at 1:30pm in the school hall. All parents, carers and family members are welcome to come along to help out and contribute ideas for fundraising and the Christmas Fayre.
