Soccer Aid

A big thank you to all the children who brought in their spare change for UNICEF and Soccer Aid. The children all looked great in their sports clothes and have enjoyed trying to score a goal during PE this afternoon.

The children are all very aware that they have the right to safe water to drink. We have been talking about how some children have to walk to get water and the children walked around our outdoor area trying to imagine what it would be like if they had to.

Royal Wedding

The children have had a great day celebrating The Royal Wedding.
They all looked great in their outfits.

We made sure the bride got their on time.

Jack and Skye exchanged rings.

They then cut the cake.

It was then time for the party to begin and they started off with their first dance.

We had some great DJ’s.

Beech Class Newsletter

This week in Beech Class we have started to look at the story ‘The Ugly Duckling’ where we have been text mapping, retelling and starting to write the story. We will continue to write the story next week and then start looking at how we could change the story. In maths we have been writing and representing numbers and will continue to developing our understanding of numbers and how they can be made up next week.
We have also been enjoying the sun and as the weather gets warmer and children take off their jumpers and cardigans please can you ensure all items of clothing are named. Your child will also need to bring a sunhat into school with them and please ensure you have put sun cream on them. Thank you.
