This week we have been busy checking our phonic knowledge, reading skills and writing independently. Everyone has worked hard and tried their very best. We have also been planning our own lost and found stories ready to write them next week. We have taken time to consolidate our maths work and to practise our number bonds.
We have had fun learning about hot and cold climates and the animals who live there. We have mapped the climate zones, used compass directions and identified continents. We are proud of how well we have remembered the two hemispheres. We have linked our knowledge of Polar regions to help us with this weeks work.
Well done to so many children for reading each night and practising their phonic sheets. It really is showing in the children’s progress.
