Happy Snow Day! The weather may be 3 months late, but I hope all children are enjoying it. Please send any pictures of your fantastic snow builds to the class email: oak@crowmoorschool.co.uk
In the short week we had, we were very busy.
In English, we have began writing our persuasive letters to Sir David Attenborough about how passionate we are about the existence of dragons. The children have worked really hard on their debating skills and developed their speaking and listening skills when communicating their ideas with the class.
In Maths, we have continued looking at decimals. It is great to see a lot more children engaging in the Mathletics this week, but there are still some not engaging at all. Please take the opportunity to engage in Mathletics, as this allows them that extra bit of practice ready for the end of topic tests. After all, “Practice makes progress”
In Science, we completed a fantastic experiment using Chromatography. We used techniques used by CSI to solve crimes, but we found the Mystery Super Speller. Please find photographs below:
You should have all received a letter regarding the school trip to Shrewsbury Abbey on Monday 13th March. Please send children to school as normal, with school uniforms on rather than PE kit.
Have a lovely, long weekend!
