We have had a great week in Oak Class!
In Literacy, we have continued to look at diary entries linked to World War 2. We have focused on common grammar features in diaries that we can use to enhance our diary writing skills.
In Maths, we have developed our knowledge of numbers up to 1,000,000, where we have explored powers of 10, partitioning and number lines.
In the afternoons, we have completed some fun activities, including taking plant cuttings. We hope before the half term break these will have grown roots, which can then be planted around our school.
Our Golden Certificate winner this week is Charlie J, who has demonstrated that he is ready to learn and also make improvements to his work wherever he can. He is a great example to his peers in Oak Class. Well Done Charlie! We look forward to reading your entry about your jam-packed weekend in our Oak Class Diary.
We have, also, elected our School Council representatives: Harley and Willow M.
And our Unicef ambassadors: Logan and Scarlett R.
Have a great long weekend! See you all Tuesday.
