Hello everyone,
This week, we have been busy doing lots of different activities. At the start of the week, the children completed their PiRA and Puma assessments for Reading and Maths. They have worked really hard this week and I am so pleased that the children have tried their best.
We have also been making our Christmas decorations for the Christmas Tree Festival at St Chad’s church. Our theme this year this ‘Victorian Christmas’ and we have been making angels out of doilies and glitter!
We have had our third session of Reading the Game and the children have been developing their teamwork skills and also their football skills. This week’s focus was all about respect and how we show respect, who we show respect to and why we show respect. There was some fantastic sportsmanship shown between all of the children.
There are lots of coughs and colds around at the moment. We encourage the children to wrap up warm at break and lunchtimes. Children are encouraged to bring water bottles into school to try and keep themselves hydrated throughout the day.
Have a lovely weekend!
