The highlight of this week was the PJ Entertainment Roadshow. Thank you to the Friends of the school for organising. The class were surprised and impressed and sometimes mystified at the tricks and illusions PJ carried out – they also liked their goodie bags!
In Maths, we have looked at ‘volume’ and will progress to averages and angles early next term. In Literacy, we carried out a written output about ‘Caring for your Miptor’ – we also revised how to punctuate and recognise direct and indirect speech.
The children are upset to see Mrs Hawkins and Mrs Ross leave – we wish them every best wish in their new adventures.
I have set a little homework but appreciate the need for the children to rest and recharge ready for our revision fortnight prior to SAT week. As soon as SATs are over we will be setting off on our Arthog adventure – the children are understandably very excited!
Have a wonderful Easter; I look forward to welcoming your children back at the end of the month. In their final term I will endeavour to reward them for their hard work in the lead up to SATs – we will audition for the play early in the term and, where possible, we will carry out extra PE, Art and IT projects!
