Assessment Week has finished and we will spend sometime next week reviewing the tests that were conducted. I will inform your child of their scores and I am hoping they will feedback to yourselves. We had an extra assembly about the NSPCC and their work but more importantly the promotion of their ‘Childline’ number. The children are aware of the telephone number and potential scenarios where they might call. A follow up assembly will take place next week. We are looking forward to watching the Y3/4 play on Monday afternoon – it will be a welcomed relief from the recent revision/assessments. I have set some more homework for the coming week and notice we are well on the way to completing the revision guides. I have promoted a good SAT revision site (Revisewise) and the children know how to navigate it – it is a BBC website that has clips and activities in all subjects – I have asked the children to concentrate on areas where they need further practice and to ignore the areas where they feel confident. For the time being, I have also suggested they only look at Maths and Literacy. Have a super weekend; looks like the good weather is with us for a while.
