This has been another busy week for Sycamore class. On Tuesday, we went to Shrewsbury Abbey to visit the World War One memorial and the Wilfred Owen memorial. Alongside Hazel class, we laid a wreath on the Wilfred Owen memorial in the grounds of the Abbey. We had a fantastic time finding out more information about the Abbey as well.
On Wednesday, the children completed the second part of their pedestrian training. They had to cross several different roads individually and they were brilliant. They all applied the knowledge and skills learnt from the previous week and crossed all the roads safely. Well done to everyone!
Next week, we have our visit to Park Hall. Children need to wear sensible and appropriate footwear and a warm, waterproof coat as they will be outside for most of the day.
Have a great weekend!
