This week we have been busy writing information sentences about WW1. We are making sure we start each sentence with a capital letter and finish them with a full stop. We have found out about how animals were used during the war and how brave they had to be. In our maths work we have been counting accurately and thinking about 1 more/less than any number. We have also been problem solving using shapes. We enjoyed our Armistice Day lunch and are having lots of fun finding out facts about WW1.
Please can we remind you to label all uniform and PE items. Earrings must be a small stud and no other jewellery should be worn in school. We are finding that the children are taking a very long time to change for PE, so please could you practise this at home.
