The children will be given a list of 10 spellings each week or they will be asked to select 10 spellings of their own that follow a particular rule.  The spellings are usually given out on a Tuesday and the children are tested the following Monday.  The children practice the spellings in class, most mornings, but they are also expected to learn them at home too.  They should have a copy in their homework books.
