Willow Newsletter w/c 18.05.20

Posted on 22nd May 2020 by Hardy Wilmot

The last week of this half term and what a week it has been. There has been much speculation about returning to school but only when it is safe to do so. Our Governors met on the same day as I called many of you this week and decided that we need to await further Government guidance and then they will decide whether we can provide the appropriately safe environment. I am grateful for their input and direction as although I want to return to school I need to know that your children will continue to remain healthy and well.

I have added the answers to last week’s homework and set new – the answers to the homework, for the work I have added today will be added to the page in a fortnight as it is Half Term this coming week.

I have been coming into school quite regularly and when not at school I have been working on school-based projects/tasks. I look forward to having a week off and will recharge ready for when we start again. The new Half Term, as and when it happens, will be very different to what we are used to (small class bubbles, potentially a different teacher, appropriate social distance activities and no sharing of resources). It will feel quite alien but I will obviously do all I can to ensure your child is comfortable but far more importantly as safe as possible.

Have a great week, enjoy the sunshine and continue to stay safe and well.
