Hello

This week the children have been writing some wonderful poems about Christmas as part of our poetry unit. The have been using rhyming couplets and onomatopoeia to create some great poetry. Although it was very tricky to find verbs that rhyme, they did very well! It was great to see their enjoyment throughout the task.

In our Maths we have been continuing our Multiplication and Division unit and have been work on our 8 times table. We have been exploring patterns between our 8’s 4’s and 2’s and how we can use this to support our learning.

On Thursday we had our Christmas dinner, it was lovely to see the children enjoying their meals and to sit together. Also their Christmas jumpers looked great, thank you!

Next week we have our Carol service on Thursday at the Baptist Church- it would be great to see you there! On Wednesday the PTA our holding a Christmas disco (3.30pm- 4.30pm) don’t forget to purchase your ticked from the office.
