Hello!

We’ve had a fab week in Sycamore class! We have continued our unit on setting descriptions and have focused on different types of sentences. We have also written some fantastic noun phrases that will eventually be part of our final writing piece.

In maths, we have started our unit on multiplication and division. Keep practicing those times tables and we’ll all be whizzes in no time!

We had the fire service in on Wednesday, who taught us the importance of making sure our smoke alarms work and planning an escape route in case of a fire.

We have also talked lots this week about remembrance, and why we have a 2 minute silence at 11 o clock on the 11th. The year 6 children have been round a few times this week, selling lots of things for the poppy appeal.
