Science Week

Today we are continuing to observe our eggs. One has started to crack and if we are really quiet we can hear the chick cheeping inside!

The children learned about some micro habitats and we went on a hunt of the school grounds to see what we could find. There were lots of creatures hiding in the grass, under logs and in leaf litter.

In the afternoon we started to think about how we could find out what animals were in the school grounds. We have left trays of smooth sand and small amounts of hedgehog food in various places overnight. Tomorrow, we’ll check to see if we have had any visitors!
