We have noticed lots of reading recorded in reading records so far this term, thank you for your support with this. A few pages each day, has a great impact!
In English, we have continued with unit on persuasive letters. However, this week we wrote a response to our previous letter. The children discussed and wrote about why Camp Green Lake, is a suitable place for young people to attend. We had to consider a different view point and work hard to use persuasive methods, even though we didn’t agree!
In maths we have been learning about rules of divisibility, prime numbers and squared and cubed numbers. Why not ask your child if they remember how to know if a number if prime or not?
Today we had our last swimming session, the children have all worked so hard and have shown great progress. In our unit in P.E has been outdoor adventurous activities, this has involved a number of skills including teamwork, problem solving and collaboration. This week we took part in a challenge called ‘the human knot’.
We now have P.E on Wednesday and Thursdays.
Have a lovely weekend,
Miss Bliss and Miss Davies
