Crowmoor Teacher

Happy Friday! We have had another brilliant week!

In English, we have been looking at persuasive letters. This week, we wrote a persuasive letter to Dr Bryce (from pig heart boy), persuading him not to use animals’ organs.

In Maths, we have started our unit on Statistics. We have been learning about line graphs, bar charts and pie charts. Please remember to keep up the hard work on Mathletics.

In Science, as part of British Science week, we leant about the impact of exercise on our heart rate and how this can change the beats per minute.

Key messages for next week:

Next week, Year 6 are taking part in Wild Tribe again.

·       Please send your child with a light-coloured T-shirt that they do not mind getting mucky. They are welcome to keep their T-shirt in school all week as they will go out in small groups throughout the week.

·       Please notify us of any allergies your child has as they will be using non-toxic powder paint to celebrate the Holi festival.

·       Please contact me on willow@crowmoorschool.co.uk if you do not consent for your child to take part in the Wild Tribe activities.

P.E is on Thursday’s, until after SATs.

Well done to Isaac who received the certificate in celebration assembly this week.

Have a lovely weekend,

Miss Bliss and Miss Davies
